The Kent I‑Bond Fund exists for one simple reason: no one should sit in immigration detention just because they can’t afford bond. When a loved one is taken, families are thrown into crisis—emotionally, financially, and legally. We step in at that exact moment, providing bond support so people can return home, reunite with their families, and fight their immigration cases from a place of dignity and stability.
We are currently the only community immigration bond fund in Michigan, powered entirely by neighbors who believe that freedom shouldn’t depend on a bank balance. Every contribution—large or small—helps bring someone home, keeps a family intact, and pushes back against a system that treats migration as a crime instead of a human story.
